A little North Pole magic, with care for your information

Santa's North Pole Cams is run by Package From Santa®, a family business since 2006. This page covers our Coming Soon website and email signup. We'll update it before the main camera experience opens.

You can visit without signing up. We never sell email addresses.

Signing up is for grown-ups

Signup is for people 18 or older in the United States, using their own email address. By signing up, you confirm you're 18 or older and agree to receive the opening alert, plus North Pole news and offers from Package From Santa®.

We don't ask for your name, birthday, phone number, payment details or information about your children. The grown-up question is a simple check, not proof of age.

When you confirm, we save the wording you agreed to and the date and time you confirmed.

Your email and the confirmation step

We use your email address to send your confirmation and the updates you signed up for. We also check whether the address can receive mail or should be blocked from further emails. GetResponse, our email-list provider, receives your address for these checks before you confirm.

Resend sends confirmation emails from a no-reply address. If you ask for a resend, it uses the same link. The link works for seven days. New subscribers are added to our GetResponse list only after confirming.

Your list entry includes your email, a United States label, a note that you joined through North Pole Cams, and your confirmation record. We don't track opens or clicks in confirmation emails.

Changing your mind

Confirmation emails are one-time messages. Every North Pole news or offers email includes an unsubscribe link. If you didn't request a confirmation email, you can ignore it. You won't be added as a new subscriber unless you confirm.

We keep your address on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We also keep protected records of addresses that must not receive mail, including permanent delivery failures and spam complaints, to help avoid unwanted emails. These records have no automatic expiry.

Keeping the site and inboxes safe

Cloudflare hosts the website and receives information such as your IP address, requested page and browser details. Its country check lets us limit signup to the United States.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated traffic. It processes technical signals, including IP address and browser information. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum for its security and bot-detection uses.

Our own safety records use protected codes made from IP and email addresses. We keep request times and delivery counts to limit repeated or unwanted email. We also check email-domain records through Cloudflare.

What stays in your browser

We use session-only browser storage to remember the grown-up check, your entered email, confirmation state and resend countdown in the current tab. This helps the page remember your progress after a refresh. Your browser's restore feature may keep a session when you reopen it.

Our Coming Soon application doesn't store your email in cookies or permanent browser storage. It doesn't add advertising pixels or session recordings. We count how many visits, confirmation emails and confirmed signups come from campaign links, such as a QR code. These are totals only. We don't use cookies for this or record IP addresses or device details. Our server sends only the event type, page path and three campaign labels to Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. We do not use these counts to identify or follow visitors. Cloudflare's security services are covered by its own privacy terms.

Who helps us handle information

Cloudflare, Resend and GetResponse keep their own technical logs for limited periods under their own privacy terms.

Email apps may load our images and fonts when displaying a message. Our store and games are separate sites with their own privacy practices. The games link includes campaign labels, but no email address or confirmation link.

Temporary records

Pending confirmation information is encrypted. Links expire after seven days, and our pending copy is removed after successful confirmation or expiry cleanup. Other temporary safety records use periods from one hour to 31 days, with expired records normally cleared at least daily.

Questions or requests

Send requests to access, correct or delete your information through our Contact page (it opens after a quick grown-up check); start your message with 'Privacy request'. We'll reply within 30 days. If you think a child has submitted an email address, please let us know there too.

When this page changes, we'll update the date above.
